The study of microorganisms is called microbiology, a subject that began with Anton van Leeuwenhoek’s discovery of microorganisms in 1675, using a microscope of his own design. Today this subject became so important that comfortable life cannot be imagined without these tiny tots. To acquaint our students with full fledged day to day updates in microbiology our college microbiology lab is highly equipped. The students can comfortably perform practical in areas like general microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, medical microbiology etc. A sophisticated culture lab is separately maintained for isolation of microorganisms.
